Instructional Assistant - Woodbridge, Virginia

Take on a vital role supporting students as a Paraprofessional in a year-round educational setting serving ages 5-22. We’re seeking several motivated individuals for immediate contract openings, with the assignment extending through July 3, 2025. Work closely with dedicated educators to deliver meaningful classroom and one-on-one support, making a difference for students with varying needs. This is a fully onsite position with in-person engagement, providing stability and purpose throughout the academic year.

What you’ll need to excel:
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar supportive role within schools
• Comfort and enthusiasm working with students aged 5 to 22
• Adaptability to assist across different classroom settings and needs
• Consistent reliability and a team-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers and staff
• Commitment to working onsite through the duration of the contract

Key responsibilities:
• Provide individualized and group assistance to students for academic and behavioral support
• Follow teacher and specialist plans, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment
• Assist with classroom management, transitions, and activities
• Help facilitate communication between students and instructional staff
• Support students’ participation in schoolwork and daily activities
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
