Instructional Assistant - Woodland Park, Colorado

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within schools is highly valued
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, teachers, and families
• Reliability and a collaborative approach to working within an educational team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in education or childcare a plus
• Patience, flexibility, and a proactive attitude toward supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom and one-on-one support to students under teacher guidance
• Assist in adapting materials and lesson plans to meet individual student needs
• Help maintain a positive, organized classroom environment
• Monitor student behavior and encourage engagement with classroom activities
• Support students with physical, emotional, or learning challenges as needed
• Contribute to implementing instructional programs and enrichment activities
