Step into an engaging contract opportunity working with elementary and middle school students for the 2026/2027 school year. As a paraprofessional, you'll support young learners and educators, helping foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that encourages academic and social success. In this role, you’ll assist teachers with classroom management and instruction, ensuring every student receives the attention they need to thrive. You’ll build positive relationships, implement behavior interventions, and provide personalized encouragement for students at different developmental stages.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid paraprofessional certificate is required
• Previous experience supporting children in an academic, childcare, or similar setting
• Familiarity with elementary and/or middle school environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Adaptability and a nurturing, patient attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom assistance to lead teachers and instructional staff
• Support individual and small group learning activities
• Supervise students in classrooms and common areas
• Assist with behavior management and implement individualized support plans
• Help prepare instructional materials and maintain organized, engaging learning environments
• Foster positive, respectful relationships with students, staff, and families
