Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or in a classroom support role is highly desirable
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs or implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or completion of paraeducator certification is a bonus
• Positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and students
• Ability to support teachers in delivering lesson materials and maintaining a structured classroom environment
• Flexibility to adapt to various classroom dynamics and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and student support
• Provide one-on-one or small group guidance to reinforce lesson content
• Help implement IEPs or behavior management plans as directed by certified staff
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as lunch or recess
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct in all student interactions
• Foster a safe, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation
