Instructional Assistant - Yreka, CA

Contribute to the success of students in the Mt. Shasta area as a dedicated paraprofessional through a fulfilling contract role. Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or teacher’s aide, preferably in a school setting
• Enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse learning needs in a classroom environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to follow directions and implement support strategies as guided by teaching staff
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in student development

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in delivering classroom instruction and managing day-to-day activities
• Provide individualized or small group support to students as needed
• Help implement lesson plans and educational activities
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere for all students
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school-related events as required
