This contract position offers consistent afternoon hours—perfect for those seeking flexible, part-time work between 2:30 and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, averaging 20-24 hours a week.

Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
• Experience working in educational or childcare settings preferred
• Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• EIPA certification not required

Your Responsibilities:

• Support students who are Deaf or hard of hearing in after-school activities and academic support
• Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using sign language
• Assist classroom teachers and site staff with instructional tasks and engagement strategies
• Adapt to different sites as assigned, maintaining a welcoming and supportive presence
• Help implement individual learning plans and encouragement in social participation
