Instructional Aide - Yuba City, CA

We are seeking two skilled professionals to work closely with students exhibiting Level 3 Autism—cases that require dedicated, patient, and compassionate support.

This opening is Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours weekly in a vibrant, supportive educational setting. The role involves working on a very intense caseload, so flexibility, emotional resilience, and a proactive attitude are key.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting.
• Proven ability to work with students diagnosed with Level 3 Autism or other significant behavioral and developmental needs.
• Patient, calm demeanor with strong crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to help with daily living activities, classroom tasks, and individualized education plans.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support for students with intense needs.
• Implement behavior plans as directed by the classroom teacher and multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with academic tasks, communication, and social skill development.
