Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s degree or Paraeducator certification required
• Ability to build positive, encouraging relationships with students and staff
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
• Adaptable, patient, and able to collaborate in dynamic environments

Available Caseloads:

• Special Education Paraprofessional: Setting IV, providing essential support to students with unique learning needs. (7 hours/day, 35 hours/week)
• General Education Paraprofessional: Engaging with a diverse student population in a mainstream classroom setting. (6.75 hours/day, 33.75 hours/week)
• Both positions are based in Red Wing, MN

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers with instructional activities, accommodations, and individualized support
• Assist students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives
• Promote positive classroom management and model appropriate behaviors
• Aid in data collection, documentation, and communication about student progress
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and safe learning atmosphere
