Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain in MS)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP documentation, progress reporting, and goals management
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and professionalism in engaging with diverse school communities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students requiring PT services
- Design and implement therapy interventions supporting students’ mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing input and documenting measurable progress
- Educate school personnel and families on best practices for physical development and safety
- Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
