Step into a dynamic contract role providing school-based PT services for the upcoming academic year. This part-time onsite position supports students two days a week (15 hours weekly), starting with orientation on August 3 and 4, and the first day with students on August 7, 2026, wrapping up on May 20, 2027. Key Qualifications/Experience:

  • Credentials and licensing as a Physical Therapist, with experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in collaborating with educators, families, and fellow therapy professionals
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and skill development
  • Adaptability to engage students with diverse physical needs and individualized education plans
  • Commitment to a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted physical therapy services for school-aged students based on IEPs and assessment outcomes
  • Complete evaluations, document progress, and maintain compliance with all regulatory and school district requirements
  • Work jointly with educators, special education staff, and other therapists to develop and implement strategies for student inclusion and access
  • Participate in monthly meetings, productive roundtable discussions, and annual performance reviews
  • Join regional colleagues and leadership for process improvement opportunities and skill-building through an engaging online platform
  • Utilize readily available equipment and testing materials
