Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid PT license in the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Creative problem-solver and adaptable to various situations
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments as part of the student evaluation process
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to promote the best outcomes
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both group and individual settings
- Document progress, maintain records, and contribute reports for IEP meetings
- Educate staff and caregivers on techniques, accommodations, and adaptive equipment
