School-Based Physical Therapist - Andover, Minnesota

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid PT license in the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
• Creative problem-solver and adaptable to various situations
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and assessments as part of the student evaluation process
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to promote the best outcomes
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both group and individual settings
• Document progress, maintain records, and contribute reports for IEP meetings
• Educate staff and caregivers on techniques, accommodations, and adaptive equipment
