Step into an enriching opportunity supporting students as a contract Physical Therapist from November to February. This full-time role runs from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm, giving you a predictable schedule while you enhance student outcomes.

Your expertise in school-based physical therapy will allow students to overcome challenges and reach their fullest potential in an encouraging educational environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings preferred
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and related documentation
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt techniques for students at varying developmental levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment goals for students
• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, focusing on functional mobility, motor skills, and access to curriculum
• Consult with educators and families to create supportive strategies across school settings
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Travel as needed between elementary and middle/high school locations (only a short distance between them)
• Support inclusive learning environments for students with diverse physical needs
