Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Minnesota
- At least one year of recent experience working in a school environment strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
- Adaptability and organizational strengths to manage diverse caseloads and schedules
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for students with varied abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ physical therapy needs through standardized tools and observation
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy interventions as part of the IEP team
- Support students in achieving their educational and functional goals
- Provide training and consult with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to legal and district guidelines
- Collaborate with school personnel regarding student accommodations and accessibility
