Physical Therapist - School Setting in Anoka, MN

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Minnesota
• At least one year of recent experience working in a school environment strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
• Adaptability and organizational strengths to manage diverse caseloads and schedules
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for students with varied abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ physical therapy needs through standardized tools and observation
• Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy interventions as part of the IEP team
• Support students in achieving their educational and functional goals
• Provide training and consult with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to legal and district guidelines
• Collaborate with school personnel regarding student accommodations and accessibility
