What we’re seeking:
- Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and participate in IEP meetings
- Proficiency in providing both direct and consultative services for students with varying abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with faculty, staff, and families
- Strong organizational abilities to manage paperwork and scheduling
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with compassion and innovation
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ motor skills and functional needs within the school environment
- Develop and execute targeted treatment plans tailored to students’ educational goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress and services rendered
- Coordinate with special education teams, teachers, and families to promote successful inclusion
- Train staff and caregivers in relevant techniques and safety procedures
- Attend relevant meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives
In addition to flexible part-time hours, this contract offers compensation between $55 and $70 per hour.
