Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current Physical Therapist license (California state or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children or within an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for family and team collaboration
- Ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans
- Excellent organization and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ physical therapy needs and create goal-oriented plans
- Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Consult with teachers and staff to support student participation in the classroom
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
