School-Based Physical Therapist - Apopka, FL

Step into a dynamic role providing school-based physical therapy, supporting students across a diverse K-12 population—including some Pre-K learners. This opportunity allows you to work full-time as a single provider, or collaboratively as part of a team of two to three part-time therapists, ensuring flexibility to fit your schedule. The position is itinerant, serving multiple sites each week, where you’ll deliver both direct therapy and indirect consultative services to help students thrive in their learning environments.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Florida
• Ability to travel between 2-3 assigned schools daily within a network of 35 campuses
• Experience in school settings is highly preferred, but passionate new graduates are welcome to apply
• Comfort in managing both direct services and indirect support for a caseload of approximately 94 students (shared with another PT and PTA)
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability required
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including district-mandated onboarding and background procedures

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 and occasional Pre-K students as per IEPs and district guidelines
• Collaborate closely with educators, aides, and related service providers
• Document progress and maintain required compliance paperwork
• Travel between schools to ensure continuity of care and support
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and IEP reviews as needed
• Promote independence, mobility, and participation in school settings
