School Physical Therapist | Apopka, Florida

Starting in October 2026 and running until the end of November 2027, you’ll work with K-12 students, including some Pre-K, across several campuses in the area. There is an open call for either one full-time therapist or up to three part-time professionals to share responsibilities—making this an ideal role whether you’re seeking a full commitment or a flexible schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license is required
• Experience serving pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly preferred, but not required
• Ability to manage itinerant assignments across multiple schools
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect physical therapy services to students ages Pre-K through 12th grade
• Develop and implement therapy plans that address students’ individual needs and educational goals
• Manage a shared caseload (94 students total divided among PTs and a PTA), typically serving 2-3 schools each day
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
