Physical Therapist - School Setting in Arlington Heights, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license is required
• Experience providing physical therapy in school settings preferred, but not mandatory

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to K-12 students, addressing both direct and indirect needs
• Assess students’ physical and functional abilities using up-to-date evaluation methods
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting each student’s educational and developmental goals
• Partner with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student participation and success in school programs
• Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and reports compliant with school policies and legal standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for accommodations and modifications as appropriate
