Your orientation is thoughtfully structured: get acclimated on August 3 and 4, with students starting on August 7, 2026. The role runs through May 20, 2027, and offers a balanced schedule of 2 onsite days each week, totaling 15 hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist with credentials suitable for school settings
- Prior experience in school-based PT or similar pediatric therapy environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a passion for student-centered care
- Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in dynamic educational settings
What You'll Do:
- Provide evidence-based direct and consultative PT services for students, collaborating with teachers and support staff to promote access and achievement
- Utilize available equipment and standardized testing materials for assessments and interventions
- Participate in a thorough orientation, supported by a “Buddy Program” to guide you through the onboarding process
- Engage in monthly team and roundtable meetings to foster peer communication and professional growth
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and participate in performance reviews to continually enhance your skills and service delivery
