Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules and paperwork efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver targeted physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Document progress and collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families
- Provide guidance and training to school staff regarding student mobility supports and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
- Recommend adaptive equipment or modifications as needed to support student access
