Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist through ECPTOTE
- Previous experience with school-aged populations (K-12 preferred)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse abilities and caseload sizes
- High level of organization and documentation efficiency
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to pediatric therapy
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of roughly 35-50 students, adjusting support based on individual and group needs
- Conduct assessments, design interventions, and implement treatment plans targeting mobility, motor skills, and access to learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
- Collaborate closely with other therapists, educators, and support staff to deliver holistic care
- Provide education and guidance to families and school staff to optimize carryover and student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
