Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)

• Understanding of IEPs, documentation, and collaboration with school teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver therapy sessions, focusing on improving mobility, gross motor function, and access to the school environment
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers for holistic support
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and progress updates
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations
• Offer training or resources to staff and parents when appropriate
