Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to assess, plan, and deliver appropriate therapy services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, aligned with educational goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing input for IEPs
- Document student progress and maintain thorough records
- Collaborate with educators, aides, and families to support student achievement
- Offer recommendations for adaptations in the school environment when needed
