Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEPs
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students according to IEP goals and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide training and resources to classroom staff regarding student mobility and equipment
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations and school policies
- Participate in eligibility, team, and parent meetings when required
