Key Details:
- Contract position, starting as soon as possible
- Schedule: 2 days a week, totaling 14 hours per week
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Most services are conducted in-person, with some homebound students requiring outreach
- Opportunity for extension into the summer session
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with relevant credentials for school-based practice
- Experience (or strong interest) working in school settings
- Ability to adapt to both in-person and homebound environments
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to efficiently manage a small caseload
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized therapy to students as per their educational plans
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members to support students’ progress
- Maintain clear documentation and progress records according to district standards
- Offer support and flexibility for students learning both on-site and from home
