Physical Therapist - School Setting in Aurora, IL

Key Details:

• Contract position, starting as soon as possible
• Schedule: 2 days a week, totaling 14 hours per week
• Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Most services are conducted in-person, with some homebound students requiring outreach
• Opportunity for extension into the summer session

Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with relevant credentials for school-based practice
• Experience (or strong interest) working in school settings
• Ability to adapt to both in-person and homebound environments
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to efficiently manage a small caseload
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized therapy to students as per their educational plans
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment goals tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members to support students’ progress
• Maintain clear documentation and progress records according to district standards
• Offer support and flexibility for students learning both on-site and from home
