Physical Therapist - School Setting in Aurora, IL

We're seeking a dedicated professional to provide engaging PT services on a part-time contract basis, with a flexible schedule of 2 days per week (14 hours total). This role supports about 20 students—including a small number who are homebound—in a supportive, collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students, in-person and via home visits as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals focused on improving physical function and participation.
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with school policies and state/federal regulations.
• Recommend adaptive equipment or assistive devices when needed to optimize student outcomes.
• Facilitate ongoing communication among the therapy team, parents, and teachers.

Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist license in Illinois.
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and interacting with families.
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies to suit both in-person and homebound student needs.
• Commitment through the current school year; possible summer extension available.
