A dedicated Physical Therapist is needed to provide both direct and consultative services across a vibrant and diverse district serving approximately 14,000 students. This is a district-wide, contract position supporting the upcoming school year and offers flexible options for in-person or hybrid work.
As an essential member of the educational team, you’ll work collaboratively to evaluate students, develop effective treatment plans, and participate in critical meetings. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting students’ growth, independence, and access to educational opportunities.
What you'll bring:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Skillful at both direct clinical intervention and collaborative consultation
- Strong communication skills for engaging with staff, families, and students
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a district-wide role with a diverse caseload
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct physical therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Provide consultative support and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

This is a full-time position (37.5-40 hours/week) aligned with the school year calendar, beginning August 2026 and ending May 2027. Compensation for this contract aligns with experience and professional skills.
