School Physical Therapist | Aurora, Illinois

This part-time, contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated PT who wants to work onsite with middle and high school students. Commit to one day per week (7.5 hours weekly) from now through May 20, 2027, and become a valued partner in student success— all in a supportive, growth-oriented environment located near Aurora, IL.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois
• Experience or interest in working with middle and high school students
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide services onsite and work effectively with an interdisciplinary team
• Prior school-based PT experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Document evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Attend monthly meetings and participate in roundtable discussions for ongoing case collaboration
• Access and utilize state-of-the-art equipment and testing materials provided on-site
• Partner with a same-discipline supervisor for ongoing mentorship, support, and professional growth
• Participate in annual performance evaluations and contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Take advantage of the robust professional development offerings specific to school-based practice
• Actively engage with colleagues in real-time through a dedicated intranet platform designed for seamless communication and knowledge sharing
