What you’ll bring:
- Valid Missouri Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, especially PreK students, is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and working collaboratively as part of educational teams
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Excellent organization skills to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling
- Commitment to fostering growth, independence, and inclusion for all students
Role and responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to PreK students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate student abilities, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct interventions in a school-based environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and cross-disciplinary team discussions
- Adapt techniques and equipment based on school resources and student needs
