This contract role offers a part-time schedule of three days per week, centered on a diverse PreK caseload. Located conveniently near Ballwin, MO, this is an exciting opportunity to deliver therapeutic services to young learners within a supportive educational setting.

What you’ll bring:

  • Valid Missouri Physical Therapist (PT) license required
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, especially PreK students, is preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and working collaboratively as part of educational teams
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Excellent organization skills to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling
  • Commitment to fostering growth, independence, and inclusion for all students

Role and responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to PreK students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Evaluate student abilities, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct interventions in a school-based environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational goals
  • Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and cross-disciplinary team discussions
  • Adapt techniques and equipment based on school resources and student needs
