Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Physical Therapy license valid for the state of Maryland
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions to students with diverse needs
• Work in partnership with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop comprehensive student care plans
• Document evaluation results, progress notes, and recommendations in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear and effective input
• Provide guidance and instruction to school staff on best practices for student mobility and access
• Maintain organized records and uphold confidentiality standards
