What we’re seeking:
- Valid Delaware Physical Therapist license
- Experience in school-based physical therapy or pediatric therapy preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care to students in both school and home settings
- Flexibility to work with a fluctuating caseload throughout the academic year
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, eager to work with multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students at assigned school sites and in-home settings as needed
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and document progress
- Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Travel between sites and students’ homes within the district as assignments require
- Support students’ ability to participate fully in their educational programs by addressing mobility, motor skills, and adaptive needs
