Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students reach their goals
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy evaluations and interventions for students as per IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document services, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Educate staff and families about strategies for supporting students’ physical development
  • Adapt and modify activities and environments to promote participation for all students
