This full-time, in-person role calls for a licensed Physical Therapist to support a diverse K-12 caseload within a vibrant school district. You’ll be at the heart of a collaborative educational environment, working district-wide to empower students in achieving their physical and academic goals.
This position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering 32-37.5 hours per week during standard school hours (Monday through Friday). As the dedicated Physical Therapist for the district, you’ll have the chance to make a true impact by developing and implementing tailored interventions for students with a range of needs. No day will be exactly the same, as you’ll be providing care and expertise across all grade levels.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience with school-based physical therapy or pediatric caseloads preferred
- Comfortable working across K-12 age groups, adapting solutions to meet individual student needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Dedication to fostering student growth and independence
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to students districtwide
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families for integrated support
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of functional student goals
