School Physical Therapist | Bloomfield, Connecticut

This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a licensed Physical Therapist passionate about helping children and adolescents in an educational setting. Work across a K-12 caseload and collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to ensure students have access to essential therapy services onsite.

This in-person position offers the stability of a school calendar, with consistent hours Monday through Friday. You’ll enjoy a variety of experiences working districtwide and have the chance to impact students’ daily learning and overall quality of life.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license for the state of CT
• Pediatric and/or school-based PT experience preferred
• Ability to work in-person and travel between sites within the district
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse physical needs across grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on academic access and functional mobility
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and reassessments
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
• Maintain documentation and progress reports per school and state requirements
• Support district initiatives to foster an inclusive, accessible learning environment
