School-Based Physical Therapist - Boca Raton, FL

Multiple charter schools across Southeast and Northeast Florida need your expertise for the upcoming academic year, beginning August 10th. Both in-person and VOCO (virtual/teletherapy) service options are being welcomed for these contract positions, allowing for flexibility and a tailored caseload.

Your schedule will involve providing impactful Physical Therapy support at several charter schools, including assignments ranging from 20 minutes to 1 hour per week at each location, with some monthly visits. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable working independently and adapting to different school environments
• Teletherapy/VOCO experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services to students ages K-12 as documented in IEPs
• Conduct assessments and document student progress
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement therapy plans
• Maintain timely and accurate records according to school and state policies
• Attend IEP meetings, either virtually or in person, as needed
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or modifications to enhance student access and safety
