Physical Therapist - School Setting in Boston, MA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Massachusetts
• Experience delivering PT services within a school-based or pediatric setting
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Knowledge of IEP processes and the ability to develop and implement therapy goals
• Comfortable working on-site and adapting to diverse student needs
• Previous ESY experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess students’ abilities and develop interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and daily routines
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Contribute to a positive school environment, ensuring each student receives optimal care and support
