Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Massachusetts
- Experience delivering PT services within a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
- Knowledge of IEP processes and the ability to develop and implement therapy goals
- Comfortable working on-site and adapting to diverse student needs
- Previous ESY experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess students’ abilities and develop interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and daily routines
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute to a positive school environment, ensuring each student receives optimal care and support
