School Physical Therapist | Boston, Massachusetts

Step into an opportunity to support K-12 students by providing Physical Therapy services for an engaging Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract position is based near Boston, MA, and runs from July 6, 2025, to August 7, 2025. As a school-based PT, you’ll work 30 hours each week, Monday through Friday, delivering care and expertise across diverse grade levels in a collaborative, student-centered environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with eligibility to practice in Massachusetts
• Direct experience working in school settings, ideally across a K-12 population
• Familiarity with the school IEP process and documentation requirements
• Comfortable adapting interventions to a range of student abilities and needs
• Safe Care Certification is highly preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to commit to the full program schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and deliver direct therapy services to students, following individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to shape holistic care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely session notes and progress reports
• Support student participation in educational and functional activities
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Adjust therapy techniques as needed during the ESY timeframe to best support each learner
