Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current or pending Washington state Physical Therapist license
- Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to evaluate and develop tailored intervention plans for students
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress reporting
- Positive, adaptive approach in a dynamic educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ physical capabilities and needs within the school context
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in coordination with IEP teams
- Deliver therapy sessions, both individual and group, fostering student participation and progress
- Educate teachers and staff on strategies for accommodating students’ physical needs in the classroom
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment, and student progress
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel to maximize support
