As a vital part of the school community, you'll utilize your PT or PTA skills to support students across two campuses, delivering compassionate and effective care for approximately 12 hours per week. You'll spend most of your time at Nellis (about 10 hours) with additional support at Centennial Hills (1-2 hours), collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Nevada
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable, empathetic, and able to work independently across multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver physical therapy services to students ages 5-18
- Develop goal-driven treatment plans to address motor skills, mobility, and functional independence in the school environment
- Partner with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ educational and developmental goals
- Maintain accurate documentation consistent with district and healthcare guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
