Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid Physical Therapy license in Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience providing PT services in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs, goal development, and documentation practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
• Ability to work independently and adapt therapy strategies to diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine students’ physical therapy needs within the school environment
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans to foster student participation and success
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and daily activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students requiring physical therapy services
• Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices, compliance, and documentation standards
• Offer consultative support, education, and resources to school personnel and families
