Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, active State Physical Therapist license sanctioned by the Board of Physical Therapy
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly preferred, but not required
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered care
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse physical needs
- Deliver direct, hands-on therapy to help students improve mobility, strength, coordination, and independence
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and progress reports
- Contribute insights for IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support safe, accessible learning environments and advocate for positive student outcomes
