Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Physical Therapy license
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Familiarity with IEP development, goal setting, and progress documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a consistent caseload and travel between school sites as needed
- Dedicated to promoting student independence, safety, and participation in all school activities
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with all required regulations
- Provide consultation and training to school staff on mobility and safety in the classroom
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
