About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a supportive school team in the Brentwood, California area. This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with students, collaborating with educators and families, and making a meaningful impact in a school-based setting.
Position Highlights
- Provide physical therapy services to students in a school-based environment.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy and support students in achieving their functional and mobility goals.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related-service professionals.
- Participate in IEP meetings, goal development, progress monitoring, and documentation.
- Support students with a variety of physical, developmental, and mobility needs.
- Work as part of a collaborative special education team committed to student success.
- Full-time position for the full school year.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent PT degree.
- Active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility for California licensure.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students build greater independence and participation in their school environment.
