Your expertise in delivering school-based physical therapy services will be key in fostering student success and enhancing their physical well-being. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to tailor interventions that help students access their curriculum, reach developmental milestones, and thrive in the classroom environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid PT license in Connecticut (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Experience with school-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple school sites
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy assessments and direct services in line with student IEPs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ physical access and participation at school
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive educational settings
  • Document interventions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district policies
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and families on adaptive equipment, mobility, and classroom modifications
