Help students reach their fullest potential by supporting their physical development as a district-wide Physical Therapist in a dynamic school setting near Bridgeport, CT. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Connecticut
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational or school-based environments
  • Strong communication abilities to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students across the district
  • Provide direct physical therapy services in alignment with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Train and consult with educational staff on recommended interventions and student care techniques
  • Communicate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support
  • Support students in accessing their academic environment and opportunities for participation
