As an integral part of a collaborative school team situated near Bridgeport, CT, you’ll support students in achieving their goals and maximizing their physical development through personalized care and targeted interventions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in a K-12 school environment strongly preferred
  • Expertise in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled physical therapy services to students per their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct student assessments and create individualized treatment goals
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
  • Partner with teachers and other related service providers to foster student success in the classroom
  • Engage families, offering guidance and educational resources as needed
