This is a full-time, Monday through Friday contract position with 32 to 37.5 hours per week, ideal for a professional dedicated to making a direct, positive impact on students’ physical well-being. The assignment runs from August 2026 through June 2027, with a districtwide role that spans all grade levels.

Your expertise will support students across the district in achieving optimal physical functioning, collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to create inclusive, supportive environments. This in-person only position calls for a compassionate and skilled PT ready to operate independently and contribute to a collaborative school culture.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Connecticut
  • Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with K–12 students with diverse needs
  • Familiarity with IEPs and school-based therapy documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility and organizational excellence in a school district setting
  • Dedication to inclusive, student-centered care

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering direct and consultative PT services as prescribed in student IEPs
  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
  • Conducting assessments, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate records
  • Adapting interventions to meet individualized student goals
  • Serving as a vital resource for staff and parents regarding PT strategies
