This contract opportunity offers part-time hours (25 hours per week) during the 2026-2027 school year and is conveniently split between two nearby school sites. You’ll work with students ages 6 to 21 within a strong program shaped by evidence-based behavioral principles. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings
- Comfort and experience working with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles is preferred
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual needs across a range of ages
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services at two school locations to students aged 6 to 21
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans in collaboration with other educational professionals
- Integrate therapy activities within classroom routines and behavioral interventions
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and report findings to school teams and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Provide support and training to educational staff as needed
