Physical Therapist - School Setting in Bristol, CT

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students in a dynamic school environment as a contracted physical therapist for the 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time, in-person position starts as soon as possible and extends through June 2027. You'll work Monday through Friday, between 32 to 37.5 hours per week, serving a districtwide caseload and making a direct, positive impact in the lives of children across multiple age groups.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Connecticut
• Experience or strong interest in school-based physical therapy
• Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 student population
• Ability to travel between school sites as needed within the district
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to in-person, on-site service (remote candidates will not be considered)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other related service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver physical therapy sessions to students with varied needs across elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
• Provide staff training and support regarding best practices for student mobility and safety
