As a valued Physical Therapist, you'll deliver skilled interventions to a caseload of fewer than 30 students, collaborating closely with educators and support teams as you rotate between approximately five assigned schools. Your expertise will empower students to achieve their fullest potential in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Ability to effectively manage a flexible schedule and travel between multiple locations
- A commitment to inclusive practices and evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support students’ mobility, motor skills, and access to educational environments
- Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Offer training, education, and resources to school staff and student families as needed
- Participate in school-based activities that support student success and well-being
