School-Based Physical Therapist - Brownsburg, Indiana

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state or eligibility to obtain one
• Prior experience serving pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Familiarity with school-based physical therapy practices and IEP documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse K-12 caseload

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to support students’ functional mobility and participation in the school environment
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents/guardians to develop and implement individual educational programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and abilities
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with school policies
• Consult and educate staff on strategies to optimize students’ physical engagement and safety at school
