This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students while benefiting from a structured schedule—30 hours per week—beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2026.

You’ll provide both direct and indirect physical therapy services tailored to student needs, working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist in California
  • Experience within a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with IEPs, student assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Compassionate approach to supporting diverse students’ mobility and functional skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy to students, addressing gross motor skills and access to learning environments
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with education staff and families to support student success
  • Participate in meetings as related to therapy services (within contracted hours only)
