Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12th grade students as a Physical Therapist, starting this upcoming school year. This full-time role is based in a welcoming school community near Burbank, California, with steady hours and meaningful work throughout the academic calendar.

You’ll work collaboratively with educators and families to enhance students’ mobility, independence, and participation within their educational setting. There’s a strong focus on delivering both direct and indirect therapy, providing vital support without extra duties beyond those directly related to student services—so you can truly focus on client care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Physical Therapist licensure for California
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working with school-aged children (K-12)
  • Ability to organize time effectively across multiple sites or student caseloads
  • Strong collaborative skills for working alongside teachers, staff, and families
  • Motivated, self-directed attitude, with excellent communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services per students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to team meetings
  • Maintain clear documentation, progress reports, and therapy notes
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families on physical development and modifications
  • Adapt therapy plans as needed for developmental or medical needs

Enjoy a schedule of 30 guaranteed hours per week from August 19, 2026, through June 9, 2027—ensuring both reliability and work-life balance. Travel therapists can access exclusive stipends, and direct as well as indirect services are compensated.
