Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Texas
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to students in accordance with their educational programs
• Evaluate students and participate in assessment processes to determine needs and develop therapy goals
• Create and implement treatment plans to promote mobility, access, and participation in the school environment
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to ensure cohesive support for students
• Engage families in their child's therapy plans, offering practical advice and regular updates
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute as an active team member
