Physical Therapist - School Setting in Burlington, NC

You’ll work with a small caseload to start—two students requiring physical therapy—with the potential for your responsibilities to expand as the year continues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in a school setting highly preferred
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques for pediatric and adolescent populations
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Previous experience providing compensatory services is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services on a contract basis, minimum 2 hours per week, with the potential to increase as needed
• Support one student weekly for 1 hour to make up missed sessions
• Work with another student once per reporting period, overseeing progress and updating plans appropriately
• Travel between two buildings located across the street from one another as necessary
• Maintain thorough documentation of all sessions, progress notes, and communication
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure holistic support for each student
